After Schulz Conveyor Systems LLC has been offering laser welding since 1999, we have now invested in the latest technology, a hand-held laser welding machine.

The advantages of hand-guided laser welding are:

• welding of thin sheet thicknesses
• lower heat input
• minimised heat-affected zone
• reduced reworking effort
• can also be used for small batch sizes

Once we had expanded our production facilities to include a protected room for laser welding and our employees had passed the DIN EN 9606-1:2017-12 certification, we were ready to go. The advantages of the process were already clearly visible after a short time.
